To strengthen our Global Quality Assurance department, we are looking for a talented profile to fill the position of: Global Quality Auditing Vendor Lead – Braine L’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
As a Global Quality Auditing Vendor Lead you will be accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving the global vendor oversight operating model for Global Quality Auditing teams worldwide, with accountability for strategy, performance, compliance, and financial governance across all GxP areas.

You will collaborate closely with Global Quality Auditing teams, as well as Finance, Procurement, and other Quality functions. The role also involves regular interaction with cross-functional project teams and senior stakeholders to manage vendors, ensure compliance and drive global process improvements.
What you will do
Auditing Vendor Management & Quality Oversight:
- Full ownership of vendor procurement lifecycles: market screening, cross-functional selection, strategic approach, contracting (MSA, SOW), budgeting, PO creation and lifecycle management.
- Full financial accountability for the global auditing vendor portfolio, including budget planning, forecasting, cost optimization, vendor contracts, audit activity reporting, and governance updates to Global Quality Auditing and Finance leadership. Compliance monitoring of audit execution, alignment with UCB standards (SOWs, MSA, Procurement & Finance processes).
- Definition, harmonization, and monitoring of vendor KPIs, quality indicators, and monthly performance reviews.
Harmonization engine:
- Identify improvement needs and implement consistent quality processes and systems across auditing quality units to promote standardization and simplification, thereby enhancing efficiency. Propel positive changes and improvements across the auditing units by enhancing people's skills and processes.
Project Management:
- According to the prioritization in alignment with objectives, strategy, and resources allocation for project management activities within GQA; lead, drive or participate to projects within or outside GQA/Quality to improve processes, tools, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement related to vendor operations, training, and internal auditing processes.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills
- Bachelor’s, master’s degree or an education in a relevant scientific discipline
- Fluent English communication (oral and written); any additional languages are a plus.
- Understanding of business and financial management, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated vendor management experience.
- Highly knowledgeable in the global pharmaceutical industry, including the interpretation and application of applicable GxP regulations in complex situations, knowledge of current and future trends in the industry and a deep understanding of major competitors/industry peers.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects at one time, including planning, executing, and monitoring project progress.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for facilitating dialogue across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to standardize execution paths across the organization, promoting consistency and efficiency.
- Ability to innovate and adapt to changing business environments.
