We are looking for a MSAT Bio DS Process Expert who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and solution-driven to join our MSAT Bio DS team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
As a MSAT Bio DS Process Expert, you will support technology transfers and commercial-scale process validations for mammalian biotechnological manufacturing processes. You will carry out a smooth and efficient transition between development and internal or external commercial manufacturing facilities, as well as between commercial manufacturing facilities, by providing the necessary documentation and ensuring compliance and optimal performance. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvements and will play a key role as a technical expert throughout the product lifecycle.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Development, Industrial Leads, Analytical Transfer & QC Readiness teams. You will be also in contact with external partners and manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment and compliance across global operations.
What you will do
- You will support technology transfer activities and implement process control strategies with stakeholders.
- You will be responsible for writing risk assessments, protocols, and technical reports for Tech Transfer and validation runs.
- You will manage coordination of sampling, analyses, and adherence to project timelines.
- You will act as process expert post-transfer, owning documentation and supporting lifecycle management.
- You will support Health Authority inspections and ensure compliance with cGMP requirements.
- You will identify and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives within approved parameters.

- Master’s degree in biology, biotechnology, or related life sciences field.
- Strong understanding of biotechnological manufacturing processes and validation principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic knowledge of statistics.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with a proactive mindset.
