Job Description
37.5 Hours per week. Monday - Friday. 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Purpose of the post:
Duties of the admin analyst include physical testing of samples, label reviews, report writing and support of the wider team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate early into their career wishing to begin a career in Life Sciences. As such, we do not require experience for this role but do require the candidate to have a willingness to learn and and ideally, have an interest in Science.
- Accept and record incoming samples
- Perform laboratory testing alongside the laboratory team when required
- Perform the initial label report check and perform the initial analysis of the label
- Support the team with the processing, booking and report creation.
- Record all activities and deviations
- Ensure the lab area is clean and tidy
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
Qualifications
Essential
- 5 GCSE’s C grade and above.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).
- Effective communication skills both written and oral.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Organised and can prioritise.
- Professional and friendly personality.
