Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Provisioning and Management: Deploying and managing infrastructure resources on Azure
Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
Monitoring and Logging: Setting up monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of the platform
Security and Compliance: Implementing security measures and best practices to protect the platform and its data
Environment Management: Managing multiple environments (e.g., development, staging, production) and coordinating release cycles
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams as well as effective communication and documentation of processes, procedures, and configurations are essential
Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and platform performance
Automation and Optimization: Continuously identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks, improve operational efficiency, and optimize resource utilization
Learning and Growth: Staying updated with the latest Azure services, DevOps practices, and industry trends. Actively participating in training programs, certifications, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance skills and contribute to the team's growth
Job Qualifications
Practical knowledge of DevOps toolset: Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform / Bicep / ARM etc.), Code repositories (GitHub Repos etc.), Scripting language (Python / PowerShell etc.), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps Pipelines etc.), Deployment/test automation (e.g. Azure Test Plans etc.) and static code analysis (GitHub Security / SonarQube / Snyk etc.)
Understanding of Cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
Good communication skills
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) will be an additional asset
The ability to lead initiatives will be an additional asset
