Job Summary
BioLegend is looking for a Scientist who is skilled in antibody development. This position includes working independently on assignments and performing various immunoassays for antibody characterization. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in designing and formulating antigens for immunization, antibody purification and screening, and use independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve optimal results. This role will effectively collaborate with project leaders from different departments to streamline the development process and ensure specifications are met.

- Participate in antibody development activities in BioLegend with a focus on monoclonal antibodies
- Actively participate in data collection, analysis, discussion, and presentation
- Actively participate in antibody development process improvement
- Good communication skills to coordinate document transfer among departments
- Supervise research associates to perform assigned duties
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- B.S. with generally more than 8 yrs of relevant experiences in antibody development OR
- M.S. with generally more than 6 yrs of relevant working experiences in antibody development OR
- Ph.D. with generally 1-3 years of post-doctoral training or relevant working experience in antibody development
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Research background of Immunology and cell biology
- Have an in-depth understanding of antigen design, antibody development and familiar with antibody characterization
- Demonstrate success for technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought
- With a supervisory experience is preferred
The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 -$90,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
