Quality Intern
The QA Intern will support the Quality Assurance team and gain hands-on experience in quality assurance activities while helping ensure compliance and product quality.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support drafting and revision of SOPs relating to QA department, as required.
- Preparation and/or review of GMP documentation.
- Organisation, scanning and filing of GMP paperwork.
- Support the generation of quality review metrics
- Support the Site Quality Monitoring program
- Support the Site GMP Release program
- Support the QA team investigating quality related deviations.
- Support Client Audits and Health Authority Inspections, as required.
- Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs, and controlled documents.
- Will be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the QA Lead
Your Profile:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
Qualifications
- Pursuing a third level undergraduate or post graduate qualification in a relevant Science or discipline. For example, but not limited to: Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Science.
Knowledge/Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of biopharmaceutical processes.
- No previous experience required, demonstrated ability to work in teams through university/college activities.
Technical Competencies
- Currently pursuing a third level undergraduate or post graduate qualification in a relevant Science or discipline.
- Knowledge and understanding of biopharmaceutical processes.
- Good communication skills required as QA Intern will be required to work with cross functions.
- Experience in Microsoft applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.) is an advantage.
