Due to our ongoing success securing large-scale projects we now have a requirement for a Wastewater Treatment Commissioning Engineer based onsite with us in Limerick.

Responsibilities Execute commissioning and start-up activities for wastewater treatment systems and associated utilities.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, test scripts and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with Engineering, CQV, Operations, Automation and Construction teams.
• Support commissioning of systems including:
- Neutralisation Systems
- Chemical Dosing Systems
- Filtration Systems
- Biological Treatment Systems
- Sludge Handling Systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and drive timely resolution of commissioning punch-list items.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors during installation, startup and performance testing activities.
• Ensure systems operate in accordance with design specifications, environmental requirements and project procedures.
• Provide regular progress updates to project management teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in commissioning, operations or engineering within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, industrial or wastewater treatment environments.
• Previous experience commissioning wastewater treatment systems or utility infrastructure.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, chemical dosing, filtration and effluent management systems.
• Experience working in GMP-regulated or highly regulated industrial environments.
• Familiarity with PLC, SCADA or process control systems is desirable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and fast-paced project environments.
