Overview The Junior Project Engineer will support the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of small to medium-scale engineering, facilities, and infrastructure projects across our clients event campuses in Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and service providers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities Project Delivery
- Assist in the management and delivery of facilities, engineering, maintenance, refurbishment, and infrastructure projects.
- Support project planning activities, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status updates and reports.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and specialist service providers.
- Support project commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.
Technical Support
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and contractor submissions.
- Assist with the preparation of tender documentation and procurement activities.
- Monitor compliance with engineering standards, building regulations, and site requirements.
- Provide technical support to operational and maintenance teams as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
- Ensure contractors comply with site safety procedures and relevant legislation.
- Participate in risk assessments, method statement reviews, and permit-to-work activities.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained in accordance with company procedures.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with internal departments, tenants, event teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action trackers.
- Communicate project updates clearly and professionally.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain project records, schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Track project costs and support financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of business cases and project proposals.
- Support the development and maintenance of project management systems and procedures.
Qualifications Essential
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Civil, or related discipline).
- 0-3 years' experience in a project engineering, facilities, construction, or engineering environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Desirable
- Experience working in facilities management, construction, infrastructure, or property environments.
- Understanding of project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and contractor management.
- Experience using MS Project, AutoCAD, or other project management software.
- Membership or progression towards membership of Engineers Ireland.
