The Role:

Role Brief:
The successful
candidate will be responsible for
commissioning, installation and support of automation and control systems. The
candidate must possess the technical expertise to maintain, develop,
troubleshoot, and validate these systems in a compliant manner.
Core Responsibilities:
- Under
the guidance of your line manager, carry out all automation systems
focused tasks on site to meet operational or project requirements.
- Review
and consulting SOP’s for any job task you may carry out and ensure you
fully understand and adhere to the SOP.
- Work
in accordance with plant demand and available manpower to ensure the
delivery of all required automation systems solutions.
- Ensure
all efforts are made to reduce cost by improving efficiencies.
- Ensure
when faults occur ensure adjustments are made and checks carried out until
no fault exists.
- Support
plant automation systems ensuring compliance CFR 21/Part 11 and other
related policies and procedures.
- Conform
to all aspects of manufacturing communication network and Predictive
Control System.
- Participate
in CAPA investigations impacting Engineering.
- Participate
in the maintenance of Medium Voltage Equipment.
- Support
Risk based cybersecurity threat identification and mitigation activities.
- Perform
responsibilities to ensure that the appropriate application of security
products and technologies are in place to protect the organization’s
systems and information and enable achievement of the organization’s
objectives.
- Support
the development of a risk-based cyber security program which meets
regulatory requirements and aligns with industry leading information
security practices.
- Perform
threat identification and mitigation activities using industry leading
security controls and tools sets.
- Apply
technical knowledge to protect the company assets against cyber threats.
Skills Brief:
- The candidate must have experience with the following technology: Allen Bradley (Logix 5000)
- Knowledge in PLC and HMI programming/commissioning of Allen Bradley control systems
- Proven knowledge and experience with one or more of the following will be an advantage: Siemens (Step7), , SCADA, Control Systems, Vision Systems
- Knowledge in the validation of automated processes for medical devices or pharmaceuticals
- Knowledge in the improvement and implementation of assembly automation solutions, robotics, and complex machine controls
- Knowledge and understanding of multiple products or disciplines
Person Profile:
Candidates must have a
B.Sc. degree in Mechatronics or equivalent, with a strong emphasis in mechatronics
or automation discipline. Internship experience or hands-on manufacturing
industry experience would be ideal, preferably in a pharmaceutical,
biotechnology, blue chip or relevant GMP environment. The ideal candidate will
have excellent communication skills and strong problem skills.

Fluency in oral and written English is a must. A second language (German, Danish, Italian, Spanish or French) is advantageous but not essential.
