Machine Vision Engineer:
As Machine Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for
developing, testing and implementing machine vision solutions across a variety
of manufacturing sectors.
- Location:
This role will be based onsite in Limerick so you should be able to
commute daily to site

Your tasks will include:
- Develop vision applications for inspection, guidance,
measurement and quality control use.
- Support
requirements clarification, solution design and technical documentation.
- Design,
configure and implement robust machine vision solutions using Cognex and
other vision platforms
- Responsible
for specification of camera/ lighting hardware & software for
applications.
- Integrate vision systems with PLC, SCADA, MES and other
manufacturing systems
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and optimization of
vision applications
- Collaborate with customers, automation engineers and
project teams
- Host customer visits/ demonstrations as required
- Ensure solutions meet quality, compliance and performance requirements
Your qualifications:
We are looking for a structured and technically skilled
engineer with solid hands on experience in machine vision.
You have:
- Proven experience with Cognex vision systems as a minimum
requirement
- Experience with vision tools, camera setup, lighting, lenses and image
processing
- Knowledge of industrial automation and production environments
- Experience with vision integration to PLC systems and industrial
communication protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in production settings
- Delivery of detailed documentation and a quality focused mindset
- Strong communication skills in English
- A relevant technical education within engineering, automation, robotics,
software or similar
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with Keyence, Omron or other machine vision
platforms
- Experience from pharma, life science or other regulated industries
- Knowledge of validation, GxP or GMP requirements
- Experience with robotics, motion control or advanced automation
- Programming experience within C sharp, Python or similar

Fluency in oral and written English is a
must.
The ability to be
onsite as required and without significant notice is essential. You should have
your own car and a valid driving license. You should be living within a
commutable distance to Limerick or able to relocate in 1 to 2 months maximum.
