QC Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining the high standards that underpin our products and manufacturing processes. The Opportunity
Reporting to the QA Manager – Supplier & Quality Control, the Quality Control (QC) Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Manufacturing QC Inspection Process.
You will coordinate inspection activities, manage and support the QC Inspector team, monitor performance and resources, and ensure that all activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with our Quality Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare weekly inspection plans.
- Ensure all work and tasks carried out are consistent with and compliant with our QA systems.
- Monitor QC Inspector work throughput and measure individual work throughput on a daily/weekly basis.
- Manage timekeeping and clock-card maintenance for QC Inspectors.
- Coordinate and analyse inspection resource requirements to best fulfil both long-term and immediate production order requirements.
- Participate in wider team meetings to support fulfilment of the company’s sales order plan.
- Manage QC NC/CAPA activities and participate in root cause analysis, identification and resolution.
- Assist with and participate in internal and supplier audits.
- Draft SOPs and associated documentation for the QMS.
- Complete timely record and metric-related transactions.
- Complete regular metrics and data reporting for management.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned in support of compliance or QMS activities.
- Ability to travel overseas as part of the role is required.

Essential
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of a BSc in a Science or Engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years’ experience in medical device manufacturing within a QA role, using ISO 13485.
- At least 2 years’ leadership/people management experience.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.
- Strong communication skills, coupled with diligence in metric analysis.
