- Support new product development and testing required in a manner compliant with the ISO13485 quality management system.
- Perform bioassays following established protocols.
- Develop new bioassay and contribute to optimization and validation of new bioassays.
- Maintain cell lines using sterile cell culture technique and isolate primary cells.
- Collaborate with other product development Research Associates and Scientists to provide project updates, to establish project timelines and to assist completion of product development documentation.
- Perform data analysis and keep good records and documentation.
- Prioritize daily tasks to keep organized with attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple work streams.
- Perform lab tasks, maintain equipment and laboratory supplies as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean laboratory.
- Support laboratory personnel training as needed
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience or other related field
- Minimal of two years of relevant laboratory experience
- Proficiency in tissues culture of mammalian cell lines
- Familiarity with basic lab equipment and knowledge of lab safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Outstanding organization and communication
- Highly motivated and a good team player
- Experience in primary cell cultures
- Two years of experience in performing bioassay
- Working experience in a manufacturing or product development setting in compliance with ISO9001/ISO14835 standards would be a plus.
