What you’ll do in this role:

The primary purpose of thisroleis toprovide strategictechnicalguidance and oversight topioneeringdevelopments that support Integer’s goals.You will be involved in the full life cycle of projects frominceptiontocompletion. As the authority in your field,you will provide guidance andtechnicalleadership to othersacross Integer.

You adhereto Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

You are recognized as a subject matter expert within Integer andchallenged to solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

Youlead anddirectthe technical aspects of new productor processdevelopment programs and the ongoing support activities to sustain operationsfor a product line or site.Your contributions enable continuous improvement opportunitiesresulting inimproved performance and/or cost reduction opportunities fornew andexisting products.

You may provide supervisionforup to 4 to 5engineeringdirect reports. As well, you will serve as acoach and mentorfor other engineers, modeling the behaviors and disciplines of an engineering or technical professional.

Youprovidedirection and administrative organization for the design and engineering services departments and set priorities for utilization of resources on newprojects orprograms.

Youinteractwith aglobal customer base andareresponsible for interface/travel for customer interaction and communication. As such, you work closely with customers andsalesmanagement to establish, maintain and improve relationships.

Your skills and experiencesareleveraged todiscover and promotenew business and market opportunitiesas well as production performance improvements.

Youmayreview, initiate, and approve engineering designs, reports, change orders, material and process specifications.

You embed Quality within the Engineering discipline – “I own Quality.” Youare astandard bearer for Quality in everything we do at Integer, by assuring adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS),facilitating and/or contributing to corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the successful attainment of our quality KPI’s and journey to 5 Sigma.

Standardizationthrough workplace organization & visualcontrols (5S), Manufacturing Standard Work, and robust training &certificationprograms.

Associate Engagementpromoted through the adoption of standardized problem solving.methodologies,behavior-basedsafety programs, and improvement idea and suggestion systems.

Systems & Process Optimizationthrough adoption of principles of built inquality, optimized scheduling & material system designs, work cell design, and total productive maintenance.

How youwill be measured:

You will have defined Goals and Objectives specifying key projects and expected milestones to achieve.Given your capabilities and experience, you will identify ways to shorten the project durationsand make systemic changes to current processes and procedures that enable greater efficiencies.

Innovation and ideation are critical aspects of your role and you will be expected to generate continuous improvement suggestions and support the implementation of them.

As a result of completing assigned projects and initiatives, you will demonstrate evidence of delivering theexpectedresults.

Your expertise, coupled with your accomplishments and collaboration with others to deliver results, will enable the accumulation ofincremental savings’ opportunities which will be tracked.

For assigned projects, you will establish and adhere toschedules andbudgets.

What sets you apart:

You are technically renowned as a subject matter expert, a recognition you have earned through 10+ years of progressive engineering and/or technically focused roles and experiences.

Your abilities to observe, analyze and develop solutions to complex technicalchallengesresult in the delivery of break-through results in areas such as productivity, technical capabilities, capacities, or other competitive differentiators in aparticular marketor product segment.

You earned, as aminimum,aBachelor’sDegreein an engineering or relatedtechnicalfield. Preferably, you also haveaMaster’sdegree ora Doctorate.

You have a strong foundation, and preferably training and certifications, in a variety of problem-solvingand project management platformssuch as 6-Sigma (green belt as a minimum, black belt preferred), 8D, RCA, 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fish Bone),Kepner-Tregoe,PMP.

You work independently as well as collaboratively with cross functional teams.

You have thewell-developed skillsfor planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and on budget.

Because your role involves customer and supplier interactions, travel, both domestic and international, will be required at times. The duration and frequency of such travel may vary by assignment and may include extendedperiods of time, as needed.

You have thefinancial acumen to navigate a typical Profit and Loss Statement, explaininghow the delivered results from this role can affect the Site’sfinancial performance.

You maintain acalm demeanor that transcends the high energy, constantly changing production environment.

You possess apositive, can-do attitude with an underlying belief that failure is not an option.
