About this Opportunity
You will lead the EHS agenda for Eirgen Pharma. Ensuring the maintenance and development Eirgen’s Health & Safety systems and ensure EHS standards and culture are prioritized and promoted throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the safety management system and maintain accreditation through compliance with defined standards.
- Lead and develop a culture of safety awareness with positive reinforcement across all functions whilst generating accountability for poor safety performance.
- Lead and continuously develop Eirgen’s Safety governance forum.
- Lead EHS team ensuring functional alignment with the Eirgen strategic plan.
- Establish site safety goals and KPI’s with Senior Management – reviewed annually.
- Prepare EHS budget annually.
- Plan, schedule and track project deliverables using appropriate project management tools.
- Ensure appropriate EHS project resource allocation in collaboration with functional management.
- Challenge functional teams to ensure EHS deliverables are completed on/ahead of schedule.
- Ensure that all work on site is carried out in compliance with the required standards to conform to company, cGxP, health and safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external customers on all key EHS project communications & issue resolution.
- Contribute to Eirgen innovation pipeline & support new product selection
About you
- Minimum degree level in related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in a GMP-regulated analytical or pharmaceutical environment
- Proven track record of safety delivery
- Understanding of compliance standards applicable to OSD product development & commercialisation
- A proven track record of leading cross functional project teams
- You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with good relationship management, able to engage with team members, stakeholders and external customers
- You are a natural leader and influencer, comfortable with your ability to identify risks and opportunities and manage same and driven by the task/project showing flexibility to ensure results are achieved
