Whatyou’lldo in this role:
-Support daily production operations and serves as the primary technical resource for coating processes and equipment.
-Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot process and equipment issues, maintains process stability, and ensures consistent coating quality.
-Focus on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost through practical process enhancements and continuous improvement efforts projects.
-Lead root cause investigations and implements corrective and preventative actions to resolve production challenges.
-Apply knowledge of coating materials and coating processes, with experience in equipment and processes such as manual and automated spray systems, including robotics, reciprocators, electrostatic spraying for liquid coatings and/or powder coating technologies.
-Measure coating and part properties such as viscosity, % solids, adhesion, hardness. lubricity, durability, and wet/dry film thickness—to monitor and optimize process performance, ensuring compliance with material and customer specifications.
-Develop and maintain clear manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications, and supports engineering changes.
-Assist with equipment qualification and process validation activities.
-Collaborate with Coating and NPI Engineers to transfer new coating processes and products into production.

You willgenerally workindependently with occasional guidancefrom supervisors or mentors toevaluate, select and applystandard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modificationsto existing specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
You embed Quality within the Engineering discipline – “I own Quality.” You are a standard bearer for Quality in everything we do at Integer, by assuring adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS),facilitatingand/or contributing to corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the successful attainment of our quality KPI’s and journey to 5 Sigma.

Strategy Alignmentthrough Site Hoshin Plans, the regular cadence of Sales, Inventory, andOperations’Planning (SiOP) meetings, and regular updates to thevalue streammaps.
Systems & Process Optimizationthrough adoption of principles of builtinquality, optimized scheduling & material system designs, work cell design, and total productive maintenance.
While you will haveoccasionalsupport and guidance from more experienced engineers,supervisorsor managers, you willdemonstratethe ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other associates and cross functional teams.
