Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking a Project Engineer in support of the Commissioning and Qualification of a drug substance and drug product manufacturing facility, located in Dundalk. The contract is offered on a 12-month basis, estimated assignment duration is approx. 24 months.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project deliverables including schedules, work plans, and equipment cost tracking.
- Coordinate project activities and communications between multiple stakeholders.
- Manage installation, start-up, and testing of key equipment systems through Operational Qualification (OQ) completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for post-OQ phases (Performance Qualification (PQ), Process Performance Qualification (PPQ)).
- Monitor costs and progress against process suite team milestones, providing regular status reports to project tiers and stakeholders.
- Support project and site stakeholders by ensuring their inputs and requirements are clearly reflected in design deliverables.
- Liaise with equipment vendors, business partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other sites within the global network to support project execution.
- Facilitate small periods of travel for vendor reviews as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc., or M.Eng).
- Minimum 6 years post-academic experience in aseptic/sterile processing design and start-up environments.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to support vendor reviews.
- Experience with drug substance and drug product manufacturing facility projects.
- Familiarity with qualification protocols (OQ, PQ, PPQ) and regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills within a complex project environment.
