QA Quality Engineer
Location: Cirencester • Contract: Permanent • Salary: Circa £35,000
We’re looking for a proactive QA Quality Engineer to support our Quality Assurance function and ensure our products and processes meet the highest regulatory and quality standards.
What you’ll do:
- Evaluate Manufacturing and Quality processes for compliance with ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA 21 CFR 820.
- Support Quality, Manufacturing and cross‑functional teams with investigations, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and support NCRs, CAPAs, root cause analysis, and risk management activities.
- Deliver GMP/GDocP training and support internal audits.
- Manage change controls and review/approve SOPs and specifications.
- Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as per ISO13485 & FDA21 CFR Part 820.
- Work with multiple stakeholders internally R&D, Operations and Validation plus many others.
- Analyse quality data, support product complaint investigations, and maintain Quality Dashboards/KPIs.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a highly regulated environment medical devices, pharma.
- Strong knowledge of CAPA, NCRs, Quality tools, change control, and root cause analysis, Risk Management.
- Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering (mechanical or biomedical preferred).
- Hands‑on experience in a similar Quality Assurance role with understanding of the inspection process.
- Manufacturing knowledge within GMP environment.
- Strong organisation, analytical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
- Influencing and leading - Develop a network of internal resources to facilitate completion of tasks. Ability to question and challenge is key.
- Planning and organizing: Complete daily work to meet established schedule.
- Driving decision making and making an impact: Exercise authority within pre‐established limits and approval.
