We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and talented Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Basel, Switzerland. With excellent team collaboration skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnering at all levels, internally and externally.
With high levels of commitment, your responsibilities will include leading various stages of projects from concept to completion. This is an opportunity to be involved in a dynamic engineering department with exposure to a diverse mix of projects in the Biopharma, Pharmaceutical, MedTech and Data Center sectors in Switzerland.

Responsibilities Qualifications Your Profile
- BSc/MSc Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation engineering or technical/vocational equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in delivering Electrical Design Engineering projects in a complex manufacturing facility ideally within a highly automated production environment; Knowledge of Swiss code and safety regulations are very advantageous
- Experience in Digital Project Execution is an advantage
- Ability to read, understand and fault-find: Electrical schematics/systems, Instrument Loop Drawings/Panel wiring drawings during FATs or on-site commissioning
- Knowledge and Experience of Hazardous areas and ATEX requirements would be advantageous
- Demonstrable experience in the complete suite of electrical engineering design services. This includes (but is not limited to) MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, earthing & bonding, hazardous areas, etc.
- Strong understanding of the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) would be advantageous
- Excellent communication & organization skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels from project teams to site leadership team
- Strong computer MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Project, Access, etc.)
- Flexibility for occasional travel
- Professional working proficiency in English and German
