With high levels of commitment, your responsibilities will include leading various stages of projects from concept to completion. This is an opportunity to be involved in a dynamic engineering department with exposure to multiple projects in the Biopharma, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors.

Responsibilities - Automation and Control system design for industrial automation equipment from concept stage.
- Liaise with clients and the project design team to develop control system design specifications.
- Select and manage automation contractors through the project life cycle.
- Review and comment on system integrator and vendor design documentation.
- Liaise with automation vendors and keep up to date with the latest automation technology trends.
- Attend control system hardware and software FAT’s.
- Provide on-site support during installation, commissioning and SAT’s.
Qualifications Your Profile
- 8+ years’ in Automation Engineering in system design for industrial automation equipment ideally within Life Sciences sector such as Pharma and Biotech but Food, VetPharma, Dairy, Brewery are also highly relevant
- Degree or technical apprenticeship in Electronics/Systems, Mechatronics, Software Architecture, Automation and/or Measurements and Controls Technology
- Experience in automation system architecture & design, requirements & specification development (incl. vendor/SI management) for Industrial Control Systems such as PLC/DCS
- Good understanding of panel drawings and P&ID’s
- General knowledge of instrumentation interfaces (I/O lists, signals, loops / field device integration) is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Professional working proficiency in English and German
- Flexibility for occasional travel
