We are currently looking for an Electrician to join our growing team at ourSaratoga, NYlocation. This position isa Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm schedule. Our Electriciansare responsible forstart-up, normal operation, monitoring and shutdown of all electrical systems and emergency generator equipment; troubleshooting, preventativemaintenanceand repair work ofall facilitieselectrical equipment. Wemaintainthe site’s electrical distribution systems in a state of electrical code compliance. As an Electrician, you will truly be "keeping the lights on" to ensure continuous manufacturing of our life-saving products.
As an Electrician, a typical daymight include the following:
Performingmeggar,ground-fault,phase to phaseto neutral/ground, phase rotation,Transformer turnsratio,infrared and other inspection and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.Implementing temporary protective grounding.
Performingarc flash incident energy calculationsperNFPA 70E.Determiningrestricted,limited approachand arc flashboundaries. Developingand performingelectricalsafeLOTOincluding authoring LOTO procedures.Selectingand wearingappropriatearcrated clothing,equipmentandelectrical PPE in performance of work per NFPArequirements.

Are able to work off-shift, call-in or standby duty to support 24/7 coverage and emergent work.Ability to work in confined space. Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50lbs.
To be considered for the Electrician positionyou must be willing and able to work at our Saratoga location and work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Youshould have an AAS in Engineering or Construction Technologiesand the following minimum experience for each level. Relevant experience at the Journeyman level may be substituted fordegree.Experience with high voltagebeneficial.
Levelwill bedeterminedbased on qualifications relevant to the role.
