Site Engineering Head

About The Role
As the Site Engineering Head of the production site in Banjaluka, your role will include managing maintenance and engineering activities of the manufacturing facility, as well as responsibilities related to budget management, projects, investments, and planning the development and training of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing engineering and maintenance functions of the production site (plant management, plant engineering, technical support, automation, utilities, HVAC, and engineering projects).
- Ensuring the availability of competent employees with high technical expertise.
- Being responsible for team development, career planning, succession planning, and training programs.
- Ensuring technical availability, reliability, and proper condition of production units at the site level.
- Collaborating with department heads to ensure infrastructure functionality, availability, reliability, and condition (utilities, plant management).
- Ensuring cost-efficient repair and maintenance activities in full compliance with legal requirements, current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations at the production site.
- Being responsible for the management and execution of all capital investment projects at the production site in line with business needs (timelines, costs, functionality, and quality).
- Managing service providers, third parties, and relevant contracts within the scope of engineering and maintenance.
Qualifications
- University degree (VII level) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Several years of experience in engineering, preferably in managerial roles and capital investment projects.
- Strong people management skills.
- Basic financial knowledge.
- Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety and environmental protection standards.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and systematic skills, excellent communication abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
