Intermediate Process Engineer – Dublin

About the Role:
Arcadis DPS Group specializes in Project Management, Multi-Discipline Design, and Construction Management for Pharmaceutical and Life Science Buildings. Based in our Dublin office, you will play a key role as Intermediate Process Engineer. Reporting to the Process Dept Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Project Outputs: Support the preparation and completion of process engineering deliverables—including PFDs, P&IDs, process reports, calculations, utility sizing, and equipment specifications—ensuring all tasks are completed to high technical and safety standards, within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Senior and Lead Process Engineers to deliver assigned project sections, following their technical guidance and quality expectations.
• Support Change and Controls: Provide input on proposed changes to project scope, schedule, or budget; proactively flag potential impacts to senior process project team members and help document relevant information to support project delivery commitments.
• Mentor and Support: Assist and mentor junior and graduate engineers in completing their deliverables, encouraging teamwork, knowledge sharing, and skill development.
• Contribute to Team Delivery: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support project integration and delivery.
• Maintain Standards: Ensure all work complies with relevant local, international, and client-specific codes and standards.
• Quality and Safety: Participate in PHAs, HAZOPs, design reviews, and project meetings, maintaining a focus on process safety and quality assurance.
• Embrace Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency or technical improvement and share best practices within the team.
Skills & Experience Required:
• Education: A higher technical degree in Industrial, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a process engineer in design consultancy or Food/Pharmaceuticals/GMP manufacturing environments, with demonstrated involvement in design project execution.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in process design, calculations, and preparing technical documentation for engineering projects.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, following direction and contributing to group goals.
• Mentoring: Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is an advantage.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Organisational Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and process-related software, with effective Organisational and time-management skills.
Nice-to-Have:
• Clean Utilities: Experience supporting clean utilities design and implementation projects.
• Project Delivery: Experience assisting in the delivery of batches of process deliverables independently, on time and within budget.
