Your Role:
As director of one of our Tumor Immunology Research teams, you'll lead a passionate team of in vitro scientists dedicated to driving drug discovery projects from target selection through to preclinical development. You will engage, develop, and guide your team in designing impactful in vitro experiments that empower data-informed decisions. Additionally, you'll initiate new projects, lead cross-functional drug discovery teams, act as the research lead for development projects and evaluate external assets.
To steer the strategic direction of our Tumor Immunology pipeline, you will be a strong discussion partner, leveraging your sound expertise in science, drug discovery and knowledge of the competitive space. This role is reporting into the Head of Tumor Immunology research and located in Billerica, MA, US.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- You hold a PhD or another advanced degree in Immunology, Oncology, Cancer Biology, or a related field, with over 8 years of industry experience.
- You possess more than 5 years of leadership experience, demonstrating a successful track record in mentoring and team development.
- You have deep expertise in tumor immunology drug discovery, translational research, and preparing documentation for regulatory health authorities. You have a proven history of advancing assets from target concept to IND application.
Preferred skills:
- You are proficient in designing, executing, and interpreting in vitro assays for drug discovery, with strong knowledge in tumor models and pharmacology experiments.
- You have an extensive background in NBE modalities, including T cell engagers.
- You exhibit sharp analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to integrate information from various sources to make sound, data-informed decisions.
- You are strategic and innovative, capable of identifying first-in-class and best-in-class opportunities while effectively managing project risks and timelines.
- You are a clear communicator and collaborator, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional matrix teams.
Location: Billerica MA
Pay range for this position: $167,000- $250,400
Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
