Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as an Intern in the Automotive Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
Supporting Continuous Improvement (CI) projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing quality.
Assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Participating in Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities alongside experienced CI professionals.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and EHS to implement sustainable improvements.
Helping to develop and document standard work, visual management tools, and performance tracking systems.
Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence of Lean foundation Tools (5S, LPA and Continuous Improvement Ideas)
• Customize Leader Standard Work in alignment with roles and responsibility for the operations team.
• Promote continuous improvement mindset on everything you do.
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
• Have earned a high school diploma or GED
• Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
• Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
• Are authorized to work in the U.S.
