Overview
The Manufacturing Operator reports to the Manufacturing Line Lead and performs production tasks including reading drawings, basic assembly techniques, visual inspection, and packaging and labeling. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the department’s production and quality goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Conduct basic assembly techniques
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings and follow standard operating procedures
- Responsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products
- Package and label finished product
- Work with a team in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment for 8 hours a day
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks as assigned
- Learn Repligen Performance System and participate in Tiered Boards, GEMBA, and 5S
- Basic problem solving
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality standards
- Ability to use hand tools, and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
- Stand and move during shift, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
- Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted; Frequently lift up to 30 pounds
- Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to chemical hygiene
- Follow all safety protocols
- Demonstrate Repligen R-Values
