Process Safety SME - Singapore - 12 Month Contract

Our client is currently seeking the skills of a Process Safety SME to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Engage with the project Engineering SHE Lead to coordinate the process safety activities.
- Participate in the process hazard assessments
- Provide process safety expertise to the design team regarding design development, safeguard selection and risk reduction.
- Review the process safety deliverables in conjunction with other SMEs (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.).
- Provide input in the Safe to Start process (PSSR).
- Report progress and issues to the Engineering SHE Lead.
- Support the Engineering SHE Lead with Tier reporting and gate reviews.
- Support the Engineering SHE Lead escalating issues to the PTM and if necessary to the Project Manager.
Desirable Experience:
- Strong collaborator with ability to create and maintain effective working relationships and willing to challenge behaviours and actions.
- Engineering education (chemical, process, mechanical, or else).
- Demonstrated experience of providing process safety expertise on EPC projects.
- Demonstrated practitioner of practical problem-solving.
- Detail focused completer/finisher with a results-orientated mindset.
- Collaborate and work in partnership
- High professional standards
- Understanding and knowledge of the delivery of Engineering SHE in CPDP
