Project Engineer - Ohio, United States - 12 Months ContractThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Verify work in place and that inspection procedures are being completed.
- Filing and tracking permits, utility approvals and public notices.
- Track owner’s procurement progress and coordinate equipment arrivals with construction teams.
- Coordinate Site Acceptance Testing and other commissioning activities. Support site operation team for performance with operation personnel for training.
- Collaborate with risk manager to update project risk register. Serve as risk owner to provide appropriate risk treatments to lower negative impacts and enhance positive impacts to the project baseline.
- Process requests for information and assure timely responses are provided.
- Track field progress and update bi-weekly progress curves.
- Issue monthly quality reports.
- Manage engineering turnover information.
- Provide project closeout and turnover scope to have a seamless delivery of the manufacturing capacity
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience delivering large scale capital projects for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Experience managing field information, schedule updates, construction quality systems, commissioning and systems turnover.
- Experience participating on a cross functional construction team.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Preferable with mechanical engineering and plumbing background.
- Strong organizational skills and strong information document control organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CPM scheduling skills.
- Excellent at planning, coordinating, and problem solving.
- Demonstrate high integrity, strong sense of ownership, and leadership.
